I wish there were less blogs on openings and traps, and more on positional play, tactics, strategy, because that is a better resource for players. There is no point in posting bad blogs and plagiarizing others on lichess, and you gain nothing out of it. very pointless -u

I made two "studies" My good games and Crazy games of mine. While I can't unreservedly recommend them, they contain many interesting games and some of the annotated ones are well worth seeing. At some point I stopped caring about annotating the games, as my studies only got a few likes (including mine automatic one) after quite some time. (When there was hardly any positive feedback, I was reluctant to invest time into annotating games.)

I actually didnt know this. The last time i looked at studies was when i made my best study (20 middlegame principles) which was my only study to reach 1500 likes. This is probably because i put a bunch of example games and tried to actually make it very good. I was looking at some of the other studies at the time. Make no mistake, most of them were not award winning, but there was clearly effort put in. However, i looked at this study and decided for fun to look at a random queens gambit study right now that was trending and.... it stunk to be honest. It was just like 5 lines and the plans were very poorly explained. It also never explained blacks plans. I can imagine that it took less then an hour to make the study. This blog post is shockingly accurate. In addition, nobody does full game analysis anymore which is the whole reason my study hit #1 in trending. They just take like random positions and usually do very shallow analysis. To combat this, I want to make a sequal to my study (Because I was only 1500 chess com when I made it and while i tried, i probably missed details). I hope that people can start putting care into the studies instead of doing this cheap slop
