Thank you for your candour in sharing your experience. I too struggle to justify the time I am giving this sport, from playing games to learning theory and spectating. What excites me is climbing up the ranks, but this is immediately quelled by realising just how few people play atomic, and that my rank wouldn't nearly be as significant if this variant gained mainstream appeal. Learning something new has been fun but that too is becoming stale as the novelty fades. Like in chess, or perhaps more so, atomic relies heavily on memorising openings, which can get boring after a while, at least for me. Now I am steadily trying to reduce my time here, but maybe yours is the better route to take, to simply go on a break or just retire.

You can not imagine how much I feel you mate. When juja was gone, I couldn't feel the same way I did before. And when you reach to a couple achievements, it feels like there is nothing more you can gain so I totally understand what do yo want to say. Just keep in mind that you have friends here and 2 in a row is no harm for anyone, right? :)
