Let me digress a bit, but I think I've found a solution to be able to discuss a move with someone, like with this link (how do I share the repertoire I created?) the person will see what I mean, I don't know if there's anything similar on Lichess (lichess studiy?) or on the internet, but it's like those programs where you paste some Python code and the other person, ahh, I already know what you're talking about, the same now with your program but we paste chess moves and the other person instantly sees them and we start discussing the positions... but I'm a big fan of copy and paste and there's still something missing like ingram-braun.net/erga/online-pgn-viewer/, but it's just a suggestion, the site is great, I would also suggest he use a local Stockfish, on my computer, it would be much faster... is it possible?
You can actually share a Lichess study and work on it with someone else. I am thinking about allowing you to share access to your repertoire (make the repertoire public) and have a collaboration function, but this will depend on if people want to use the tool and help me decide on how much more time and resources I will spend refining the platform.
Local stockfish is a lot harder as this in a web application, so having a local stockfish changes the game alot as stockfish is used through the application (multi threaded at points if you want to analyse your game or repertoire, i.e. if you go the moves card and click on analyze, you can calculate hundreds of positions very fast)

Thanks for the gift. I hope that tour project will be luck. I wish that you think an italian translate. Thanks a lot.

Yeah, I was waiting for this!
The good part is that the move branches are way easier to see than Lichess study.
Also, I like that the PGN import/export feature exists.
I have two feature requests for future.
- I had some difficulty to search the current move in the move list.
The current move becomes bold and underlined, but I will be glad if it is more highlighted. (such as larger font?)
- I want the stockfish moves and the top database moves shown by arrows in the board.

Thanks for your feedback and hope you enjoy it.
Regarding the selected move, I am toying with highlighting the background to make it stand out more, I tried fonts size, but I don't like the look of it, I will play around with this.
Searching is a feature on my list, but as I have not looked at other platforms, so not sure how people would use this. How would you like to search? Input Fen, pgn string, or move? I am not sure how people search currently, your input would be awesome here.
Ah yes, I am looking at enabling move arrows from stockfish into the board to show the top moves, the annoying thing was getting the arrows sized so you sort of see the evaluation, I am also looking at colour strength as well, but hopefully I should get this cracked in the next release.

If I’m trying to find a move that I remember but don’t recall how to reach to that position in Lichess studies, I usually just use Ctrl + F on Windows. So, I don’t think adding a search input specifically for moves is necessary since it’s already easy to do with Ctrl + F.
However, adding a FEN input where I could copy a position from Lichess after a game, paste it into my repertoire, and navigate from there would be amazing.

That makes sense, ctrl f would be nice and simple, a search for fen should be easy enough to implement. So will add that. I am planning to look at the moves card to make it even more useful.

I personally love this project that you have done so far it makes openings easy to learn. Before I used to memorize the moves without thought but in games this method has really struck me down countless times. So I'm pretty excited for the future and I also would love for the free tier to get a small bump in it's value as I think it would attract a lot more people to the application who would personally not be able to pay. You can maybe implement a donation system like lichess. I would love for this to be completely free but I absolutely understand if you don't like this approach as this may cause your application to not pull revenue(Maybe a bunch of people donate!?).

Hi @GuruKrish-2011 I am looking at costs now, and will see if I can up the limits based on usage. The main thing is that I want this to be free for as many as possible, but I don't want to pay for it, so it will be about striking the correct balance between free and paid. Most likely the free limits will be increased, but hence the alpha phase so that I can get statistics on this.

Congrats on your superb take on building such a useful concept i.e. a chess repertoire. Love the idea! The detailed instructions show that you have thought a great deal about optimising the user experience.
Hey, guys - check out the games section of site too. Definitely worth a look!
