Bro, I'm glad you had the ability to respond to all the posts on this page. It's impressive.
I like talking about chess. The only people I won't respond to are trolls. I always respond to people's questions, and will always respond to criticism, but not trolls.
I am glad you appreciate that I do that, I think others do, too.
One thing that I dislike about chess is how isolationist the game is. Growing up, I studied chess alone. I don't know why it has to be that way for most of us. I think it is fun talking about this stuff with people of all ratings.
At my chess club, I hosted a "Study Chess Day" for people. It didn't go well but I also failed to advertise it well. Some people showed up, and those people really had fun. I am probably going to do more of those. I have considered doing a "I am going to study chess live on a stream, join me" kind of thing. Not sure if there is an audience for that, but I'd prefer to do that than play blitz games for 1 - 4 hours.
