But because 3.h3 doesn't fight for central control at all it allows a unique 3...c5 after which black is completely fine because the d2-d4 advance is much harder to pull off.

White doesn't have to play for d4 to have a more pleasent position, and 3... c5 isn't a move in Scandinavian style making Black uncomrotable there.

But h3 does weaken one little thing, but more on that in my later post ;)

Since I assume you are looking into the move 3 sidelines next will you be covering any bishop sacrifice lines in the 3.Nf3 variation? I actually got a bishop sacrifice accepted OTB and went onto have a crushing attack that ultimately won me a game so those lines feel very special to me.

Yeah ofcousre, if White goes h3 with the queen still on d5, h5 is the only option. And Scandi offers so many piece sacs, how could I resist, against Nf3 Nc3 Bc4/Be2 there are many sacs on g4, even against g3 there is a line with a piece sac lol

Right now I play them mostly off feel and I often get quick wins, sometimes lose tho, so I myself can't wait to finally study them:)
