1400 (somehow beats a 1700)

If it makes you feel any better (or worse), I lose to 1400-ish players in tournaments all of the time. Some players are fundamentally really good. Different rating tiers have different playstyles. If you haven't played against a lower tier in a while, adapting to how they play can be tricky.

300 points is irrelevant. Depending on many variables like time control, player style etc etc, the swing can be much larger than that.

I meant 300 total puzzles
You know on your profile it could say you did 10 puzzles or it could say you did 1010. Right?
