3.Bd3 Pirc/Philidoe: Seamless Performance

Ad 4...d5, a quote from my course: "After the modest white serve, Black immediately goes aggressively to the net. At this point, there are a few alternatives – many of them initially without much contact with the enemy.
White wants to have a cushy job with 3.Bd3 and 4.c3 opening the game slowly, but we won't let it get that far. A great deal of tension is built up and the ball is in White's court."

3 Bd3 violates the principle 'knights first!' - Tarrasch 3 Nc3
4 c3 violates the principle to develop: 'pawn moves are no developing moves' - Nimzovich 4 Nf3
6 Bxe4 violates the principle 'a bishop is worth more than a knight' - Capablanca
7 Qxd8+ prevents black's castling, but castling is no longer necessary after queens are traded as Kramnik taught
11 f4 is novel, but bad, but the white position already was beyond repair.

6.Bxe4?! is bad. Grabbing the pawn on e4 by means of Qa4+ is equally worse. The simple 7.Qa4+ Bd7 8.Qxe4 Bc6 9.Qg4 Qd7! does the job. Even without Queens White is worse desorientiert his extra-pawn.
