I’m around 850 rapid and I’m trying to improve seriously.
Chess.com profile: https://www.chess.com/member/normmacdonaldt1ao/games
Could someone look through some of my recent games and tell me:
What are my biggest weaknesses?
What am I actually good at?
What mistakes do I keep repeating?
What should I focus on studying/practicing to reach 1000+?
I’m especially interested in patterns across multiple games rather than just analyzing one blunder.
(This is a second acc that's why its so new the old one was also 800 for a much longer time).

[Event "rated rapid game"] [Site "https://lichess.org/MgbrifJV"] [Date "2026.08.21"] [White "pooyanmosaybi"] [Variant "Standard"] [TimeControl "600+5"] [Annotator "lichess.org"] 1 e4 e5 2 Nf3 Nc6 3 d4 exd4 4 Nxd4 Nxd4 5 Qxd4 Nf6 ...
It probably seemed like a good idea, to play 4...Nxd4, drawing pooyanmosaybi's queen out into the middle of the board, but:
"... if a queen is actually stable in the middle of the board, this can often be the best place for it ..." - Discovering Chess Openings (2006) by GM John Emms
4...Nf6 or 4...Bc5 would have been standard choices.
You played your first 5 moves at an average rate of ~2 seconds per move. In a 10+5 game, you could average 13 seconds per move and have enough time for 75 moves.

Answer one important question. What is the goal in the game? What are you trying to do in every game?

I believe that that topic is addressed on page 47 of Play Chess Like a Boss (2019) by GM Patrick Wolff.
