Lichess Puzzle nUYL1

On the second move for white, according to the puzzle, I should have moved Rxb8 and the puzzle ends. Instead, I moved Rdc2. After analyzing the situation, the 'correct' way would lead to my being a rook up over the opponents bishop. On the other hand, my play would lead to my being a queen up over the opponents bishop.

Could someone please take a look and confirm or deny my conclusion, or explain why the 'correct' choice is actually better.

Thank you.

Thank you Viohl. I see my error. I wasn't look at enough of the board for other options as to what black might do. I will try to do better.

Tunnel vision.
Why don't you play? During the game, you often need to look at different sides of the board at the same time.
