Mulit-Engine Consensus

It's a draw. The material is even, but not the cp values or the 43 engines I ran on my i5-6500T.

The following is my project on multi-engines:

Move time was set at 15 seconds per engine move.
timeout_seconds = 20 is use to accommodate the search time plus any unexpected overhead.

Comparing raw centipawn (cp) evaluations across a pool of chess engines is like comparing apples and oranges.
So the Median Eval is just adding noise.

The popularity of a move does not make a move best. The moves we see are the best from the rest. But when it comes time to sort the PV moves, the bestmove would need something like a rating. So using the ratings of the engines that picked that move might point to the better PV1. But since ratings are not constant, maybe a ratio from the nodes and depth would weight the candidate moves even better.

not hard position, maybe it's better to find complex position with much more time given to think and compare

With this fen and 30 seconds per move, I discovered engines that could not see the mate in 7.
So thanks, I'll be removing some engines from my list and replacing them with others that can see the horizon.

[Variant "From Position"]

Since all engines gave their bestmove (PV1) and not all have the same PV1 ... I'm still stuck on discovering how to sort those PV1 candidates. The auto play will pick the PV1 from the Engine Consensus List. But which one is truly the PV1 to play out. I can always play them all out and discover the tree, but that's a forced approach.

Engines should not be able to analyse this position:

[Variant "From Position"]
[FEN "5rk1/1p6/6p1/1q2Qp2/8/4P2R/3PKPP1/8 b - - 0 1"]

This helped remove other engines from my list.

In standard chess logic, if it is Black's turn, White's king cannot currently be left in check unless White just made an illegal move, or more importantly, the side not to move is currently in check.
