The engine thinks 6.Qe2 was a blunder but I don't understand why that should be the case? It says the previous move of my opponent -Bc5- was a mistake. This I just not capitalize on that? I don't really see how I could get that bishop or anything though.

The best idea I can see would be to aim for a Qa4 check instead to get the bishop. That seems far fetched.

I would guess that part of the idea behind 6 d4 Bb4+ 7 Nc3 is that White would have no longer had a backward d-pawn, some pawn-presence in the center would have been gained as compensation for Black's lead in development, and there would have been preparation to move out the c1-bishop.
By contrast 6 Qe2 actually made it less appealing to play d4, blocked your f1-bishop, and, after 6...O-O 7 d3, you were somewhat lucky that Black chose 7...c6 instead of 7...Re8, 7...Ng4, or 7...Bg4.

Well, "blunder" here is a misnomer (as it often is when the engine uses it). Your sixth move doesn't hang anything; it is however ill-advised. With 6 d4 you would just be a healthy pawn up; after 6 Qe2 (?!--a much more sensible way to annotate it) you would be a rather unhealthy pawn up.
