Please help me evaluate this

I ended up chickening out and taking the repetition, Engine says that the alternative qb4 instead of the qb6 draw would have been good. I felt like he could get some counterplay with his bishop being on the same diagonal as my queen which has quite few squares. How should I approach such a position? Also I maybe had a bit too much respect for the opponent. I forgot to play the position and focused more on the oppponent and the fact that he was stronger. How to fix this? I have the same issues otb.

In reality there is no bug for white in this game - but there three fold repetition in won position

You are 2 pawns up, no reason to take a draw by repetition.
