Why didn't you notice that your opponent could capture the rook twice in a row?

Bxe1 Nc7 and white still retains the advantage...

What you should be asking is why my opponent didn't capture. Simply, I'm still better. I didn't play the absolute best moves, but both times it was one of the top engine suggestions. In the second time my queen is under attack, so why would I care about my rook anyways?
