Hi, I had this really great game and I beat the experts. Could you please give me an analysis? Thanks.

Mmm?
You got the analyse, you clicked it. Look at the game and review your mistakes.
Btw the 1880 played quite poorly, even while seeing the timecontrol.

Nice result The game got pretty wild, but 16...Qxf2+ was a fun way to start the final attack. I’d be curious to review 12...Kd8 too — White had Qxa8+ there, so that was a bit of a lucky escape. Still, the mating sequence at the end was neat.
I’m involved with ChessMinds, and that’s the kind of quick review I like using it for.

Thanks everyone! :D
The game basically just came down to one silly move neglecting two important chess principles:
16).Rg1??
White is up two exchanges and a piece.
In cases like that one must be aware of two principles:
1).No matter how much material you are up you must watch for any kind of cheap counterplay your opponent might have particularly some kind of mating tricks since the only play typically your opponent can muster being so much material down is some kind of a desperate attack against a king.
2).When you are that much material up you should have NO PROBLEM at all simplifying the position at any cost and easily giving some material back.
Therefore instead of Rg1 just o-o-o
and yes you can win an exchange back when the bishop takes your rook on h1 but all your problems are now solved.
The king is perfectly safe and the position is simplified without any counterplay at all from the opponent.
Also it being a 3+0 game any strange thing can happen under such time control , people often overlooking the cheapest of tactics or mates even at 2000+ elo.

A psychological perspective from the higher rated players perspective (inspired by personal painful memories):
- A player is given the white pieces
- Their opponent is MUCH lower rated
- The opponent plays one of the worst openings (3. ... f6??)
At this point presumably they felt a very strong pressure that they needed to win.
- Almost immediately they play inaccurately with 6. Bg6?!
It is possible they may not have noticed the exact moment but most likely they unconciously were awere that they did not really have a winning position for a while.
- Black continues to play around the 800 level, perhaps slightly better but mistakes are made and a strong advantage is found again.
- We finally get to scratch that itch with good feeling moves like Nd5 (let's not look at the engine) and Qxa8 Qxh8
Now white likely feels calm satisfaction, almost being lulled asleep by the satisfactory moves and resulting huge material advantage
Unfortunately then they missed forced mate by Qxf2 and its game over x_X
Congratulations :D

that Bc6 at 6th move was the key. Quite strange move actually, like computer move. Was that really human move? :D
and also Nd5 at white's was not good.
Overall, your thinking system is good, it is no surprise you can beat him. Just one thing to consider for you: thing of opponent move one move ahead before you move.

The 1800 played good, but he forgot the Bishop in c5. And then it led to the checkmate sequence. Anyway, good job @GatoChess89!
