Well, don't you like the way things would have been going for you after 17 Rfe1 f6 18 Qb5 Qd7 19 Qxa5 c6 20 Rad1 cxd5 21 cxd5 Bd6 22 Qc3+ Kb8 23 Nfd2 Qb5 24 Qg3 ?
I mean 17 Nc3 e4 18 Ne5 Qf5 19 f4 exf3 20 Nxf3 Bd6 isn't horrible or anything. I guess you would still have had decent winning chances, but doesn't the 17 Rfe1 line look stronger?
