Is this not called a Novotny interference move?

cool move, not Tal to me but just cool

@Druismat I called it a Tal move because the sacrifice is unsound, just like the many of his, but still difficult to see refutation with not enough time on the clock.

I called it a Tal move because the sacrifice is unsound

You're talking about 21... Ne5? That move is neither a sacrifice nor unsound (in fact it is the top engine move, unsurprisingly), and though Tal has surely played many sound non-sacrifices, literally every single chess player has, so it is not a "Tal move" either, in any meaningful sense of the term.

@AsDaGo First of all, it is a sacrifice because I'm giving up my knight. It is a top engine move, but it's not supposed to give me advantage if he plays it correctly, but he didn't find the precise response and I got away with it winning the game. There is a difference between him and the rest who tried similar things. He was the only one to get away with it at a professional level, even in wcc against Botvinik. That's why he is the legend and no one can fully replicate him. I'm not a professional, but he is still my inspiration and that's why I phrased it this way. When you make a post, you can name it however you like, but for my posts I pick the titles. :)

If he takes the knight with the pawn, you obviously just take his rook (I assume you saw this, or you wouldn't have played the move). You might as well call 20... Rae8 a sacrifice too, since he can take it.

Yes it doesn't give you an advantage, but you didn't have one anyway. Since it's the best move, calling in "unsound" doesn't make much sense.

but he didn't find the precise response and I got away with it winning the game.

Sure, I guess you could call it Tal-like in that respect; it is true that your opponent's response isn't easy to find. The move 24. Re4 in the engine line is especially cute, because your queen has no good square. Either you get hit with Nf3 on its way to d4, or you go to f5, when Nb3 threatens both Nd4 (when you can't stop both the pin and fork), or Nc5 if you take on e5.
