White offers draw

https://lichess.org/TiNOZ6DU/black#39

On move #20, in a completely lost position white offers a draw. And I have seen this kind of behavior before. What is it?
Option A: Stupidity: they genuinely think this is a draw. I don't think so, nobody's that stupid.
Option B: Disrespect: they genuinely think I'm stupid enough to believe this is a draw.
Option C: Delusion: they are so desperate not to lose a no-stakes, casual match against a rando that they hope I'll straight up ignore the game state or misclick on accept.
Option D: Pettyness: Intentionally acting in a way that could be interpreted as disrespect (option B) just to spoil the joy of victory for the other person.

Option E: Clumsiness: he wanted to press the resign button, but hit propose draw instead.

Unlikely, he waited for about 2 minutes after offering the draw and never surrendered. If he wanted to resign and misclicked he'd have cancelled the draw offer and clicked resign moments after.

Are you really that astounded by something like that? How long you been playing chess anyway?

Its D (E, as you say, would have been followed by resigning a few seconds later), probably with a bit of A-C thrown in to the mix... Unfortutnaly, it is pretty common, even in OTB chess, especially in the lower rating groups.

Option E: He probably wants to say ''pls take my draw I don't wanna lose''

Astounded? It's annoying and mystifying, but I do see it way too often. Which is why I brought it up, to try and make sense of it by talking about it.

I see. Well, that's one reason to attempt to gain some rating, but still not worth the hassle for that alone :D

That's not option E, I did list it. Option C, delusion.
