RuyLopez1000, not tryna be rude but i bet youre advertising, which is against Lichess forum rules:
"Advertising and spam
Posts that are purely promotional are not welcome in the forum. We ask that you keep all advertisements outside of Lichess. This includes asking others to join your team or tournament, or check out your YouTube channel.

Click on the Report-Button in the right corner of the post if you think someone is advertising in the forum. Moderators delete posts/threads that advertise and take appropriate action towards the user

Don't make threads for: "follow me", " join my team", "join my simul", "subscribe plz"
Don't make posts that encourage spam: "How many likes can this post get"
Don't reply to the thread, giving it more attention"

Forums can be for drawing attention to things.

I remember a post where someone posted some previously unseen footage of the Fischer-Spassky match.

A blog with 5 sentences is not what I want to do.

You think I'm 'advertising' the youtube channel of an 80 year old veteran of the game presenting chess history?

It's a bit baffling how presenting chess history gets more pushback then the horsey threads and all the other spam.

If you wish you can report my post, even though there's really nothing wrong with it.

i thought Forums are made for asking questions and talking with other players, not sending a link to someone and say "check it out" i know i made same mistake in past but i changed and learned my mistake, i hope you can do that too

Strictly speaking, the post is advertising a YouTube channel. However, I was unaware of Gheorghiu's videos and thank RuyLopez for bringing it to my attention. Yes, he could have buried the information in a blog somewhere but it's unlikely I'd have seen it.

Rules are rules, i just reminded you, also it seems you dont understand the word:"Advertising"
if your post had nothing wrong in it, then expect many forums that telling you to subscribe or check out someone with links, thats definitely a thing Lichess didnt wanted so they added rules to make Forums more alike talking with other players than advertising, also, dont bring other forums that break rules into this, they also get appropiate action towards the user by Mods but were talking about YOUR forum which advertises and break rules

@RuyLopez1000

Thx for the tip!

I once saw Florin Gheorghiu at a major open tournament in Germany in the 1980s - an event attended by many other strong grandmasters besides him. During one of the rounds, I happened to overhear a conversation between Gheorghiu and Vlastimil Hort in the hotel lobby; the Romanian kept holding his thumb and index finger up to his eye to signal that he held a slight advantage in his ongoing game. This gesture was truly striking and has stayed with me to this day.

Apparently, one could even call this gesture his signature move, as I have seen him use it repeatedly while commentating on the Polu vs. Portisch game on his YouTube channel. - It made me smile.

Do you understand the word "advertising"?

He is promoting an older grandmaster's you tube page. If promoting and advertising were exactly the same thing, we would not have 2 different words. A blog post might be more appropriate if he reviewed the content, but how trashy would it be to critique an 80 year old sharing his games and memories of our game?
