365chess.com has a good set of tools, especially the opening explorer, but there is no discussion board or messaging, and no on-line play, except for Stockfish. It's a pay-site for full use, but the cost is reasonable.
Well , people here wants hints for free , or fremium sites or at least with huge part for free -as free puzzle with no limit + very nice analyzing convinience (for free) as are in new sites which I mentioned .
So oldies pushing for premium : ICC is not worthy of mentioning, 365ch site has fairly good limit on puzzles 25 (last time I played ) , also gameknot .com has limit 20 puzzle section ,both fairly good fun .But only fairly.
Rather less known new sites we should promote- with better features -yes, even if with AI mostly created....But honed with users suggestions....
You know - best bread is with shorter/-est ingredients list... the same with chess websites -especially for puzzles... -I look for "ingredients" in uMatrix, uBlock and a few other addons...
ICC has a long list with bad known i. ....
Online play is sensible only in 3 major sites with anti-cheaters actions(3rd one is playchess.com)
so nobody mentioned f.i. aging pioneer FICS and babaschess interface....to me its in spirit (grand)father of lichess ......
