Chesswiz: a free desktop app that imports your Lichess studies and follows broadcasts :developer

(I'm the developer of Chesswiz.)

Hi all, I make Chesswiz, a free chess study app for Windows, macOS and Linux, forked from the open-source Scidb database. Since it leans on Lichess a lot, I wanted to share it here first.

The Lichess side:

  • Import a Lichess study into a local database, and export your own work back as a study.
  • Follow a Lichess broadcast live, with the games arriving in the app as they're played.
  • Download your own Lichess games and review them with Stockfish, or ask the built-in assistant why a game went wrong.

Everything runs locally and your games stay on your computer. The assistant is optional and uses whatever AI service you configure.

It's free; Lichess's spirit was a big inspiration. Bug reports and ideas are welcome at chesswizapp.com/feedback.html. Download: chesswizapp.com
