My classical games are better, less blunders on both sides, can think about 4-5 things on every turn. Instead of 1-2 things in blitz

"Magnus Carlsen preferred a greater emphasis on rapid and blitz "
- Because he is the best at those and got lazy about classical.
he is also the best at classical though lol
The king of chess who is lazy is the plot for a movie! However, you can be the best in standby mode.

What is better - to think for hours or to play on intuition?

It is not clear that Carlsen is the best at classical because he barely plays. His current rating is outdated - based on past accomplishments, not current ones.
