That's all. I associate my PGN files and they open in it, and play them. No database etc. Just a plain simple PGN player.

I don’t have a personal computer these days but I like lightweight utilities like this, looks like a cool project.

Since the first release, PGN Player has added:
- Chess-piece sounds — move sounds and distinct capture sounds. Enable them through View Sound.
- Mouse-wheel navigation — hover over the board and scroll down to advance or up to go back.
- Numeric keypad controls — navigate moves, switch games, and jump to the beginning or end.
- Refreshed board and themes — a classic brown chessboard with improved light and dark interface colors.
- Hide/show notation — hide the sidebar to give the board more room without interrupting playback or training.
- Optional board coordinates — show or hide the file letters and rank numbers.
- Clearer variations — alternative lines now appear separately with indentation, making them easier to follow.
- Clear Recent Files — clear the recent-file list without deleting your PGNs or settings.
