Have any of you any beat a titled player?

Several NMs in OTB games in years long past (when I was a high 2100). Never an IM or GM but I only have a few games with them and all after a 45 year layoff and decline. Bill

edit: actually last year I played app. 20 5+0 blitz games vs a NM who was here as a grad student. I'd estimate in 4 I'd win 1, lose 2 and maybe draw 1 or lose it. But he was also a gentleman and didnt try to flag me if it was a clear draw. We'd also analyze each pretty deeply. But his openings as white fit well with defenses I was strong in so the results weren't generalizable.

I have defeated a WCM in bullet...after losing 4 time in a row against her. I have defeated a WFM in blitz...due to a misclick on her part. I have defeated a CM...in bullet. I have defeated an IM...after he missed my hanging knight.

So yeah I have "defeated" titled players.

What do you mean? What do you disagree with? Why such a reaction? There is the Russian title of Candidate Master of Sport in chess (not to be confused with the international CM). It's a slightly simpler title than CM. And it requires confirmation every three years, not a lifetime one. Which is what I held, and all the other Candidate Masters of Sport around me did back when I played in official tournaments. Not a single person around me held the CM title (even later, I was surprised to learn that the title I held for many years was different from the international Candidate Master title). The next step was achieving the title of National or FIDE Master of Sport in chess. This means that no one around me held the CM title; they immediately achieved the title of National or FIDE Master. I stopped playing chess 25 years ago (at the age of 15; I became a Candidate Master of Sport in chess (not CM). I stopped playing chess then and there, having already developed completely different interests). I haven't played chess at all since then, only playing occasionally (I even went through a period of about 11.5 years without playing with other people at all). Those who decided to continue playing chess continued. They became masters (national, FIDE, international) or grandmasters. For example, one guy from our small children's chess team, who played after me on the team when I was a kid (but he was younger than me), has long since become a grandmaster and is consistently ranked in the world's top 1000 chess players (the last time I looked at the world rankings, he was around 900th).

A. Okay then. Thank you for properly recognizing my relatively good chess results. I don't speak English (I don't need it for anything in real life). A translator translates for me. And he very often doesn't translate at all how people speak to me or how I speak. I understand a little English, and sometimes I correct the translator. And what they say to me is how the translator translated it, and that's how I see it (sometimes I notice that the translator has translated it completely incorrectly; but only sometimes).

In addition to everything I said in the comments above in this thread, I can give a specific example. For example, here's a match I had with a FIDE Master on Lichess (we played all these games on different days, resulting in this match). My current score against this FIDE Master is 6.5:2.5 in my favor! Link to all the games in this match:

I gave an example above of one of my matches with masters on Lichess. My current score against this FIDE master is 6.5:2.5. I showed this example just in case anyone doubts my words. I don't have a habit of lying (unlike the vast majority of people). I am objectively very good (in many areas of life), and therefore I am completely satisfied with the real me. I have absolutely no need to embellish anything about myself. And I especially don't need to lie. I can afford to talk about the real me and be completely satisfied with myself, because I am objectively very good! This is unusual for many, since it is relatively rare among people. But for me, it is! )))

I'm a generic OTB club player in my chess club. I have had very few opportunities to play titled players. And I've only won one game; from a Fide Master, just last month.
