How many lichess teams could we join on lichess

no you can't.

Technically 51, depending of if you have leaders permessions, but only 50 will be displayed.

yeah with leader permission it changes it up a bit

I would be surprised if the leader permissions override the general settings.
It would be nice when somebody can post a link to the source code then.
