how to do forced trades here

<Comment deleted by user>

The advice I was given in these kinds of positions was:

Rather than chasing you oppents piecses around asking for trades put your own pieces on active squares (usaully in the center of the board) and your oppenent will want to trade them off.

The position is akward though because the black king is alittle weak and white can make threats. I'd go with:

Qe3+ its a forcing move getting the queen in the middle of the board

Rb6 attacking the queen and saving the a pawn

But the position isn't simple like if you move the bishop then you can get checked on the back rank and the annoying pawn on g5 is scary so anyways i won't feel bad about all the blunders.

GG

if i atemted to checkmate at this moment i probably wouldnt be able because as i said im not good at it , so i woud have traded down stuff but i and my oponent blundered which caused me to win , so the question is how could i have traded down stuff if my oponent didnt blunder

It's probably a good idea to do easy checkmate theme puzzles for you, you can just go do each theme for a few days until you've got it.
The reason I say this is not just so you learn to checkmate but threatening real threats with those methods is how you actually force trades in such a position, because that's the only way that leaves your opponent no choice.

You don't need forced trades here !With your Queen and Rook so active, 1....Qh4+ or 1.....Qh3 leads directly to a forcing attack.You will either checkmate White quickly or force them to give up heavy material (Queen/Rook) to survive.

the problem is im very bad at checkmating , because of that i usually trade everything down when i hav...

Terrible Excuse. Go to https://lichess.org/practice and practice ALL the checkmate patterns until you vomit red. Then do them again, 3x. Maybe even 4x. There is zero excuse you should not be able to mate with all piece combinations as second nature. It's also a first step to getting to 1200+.

There - you've identified a big hole in your game. Now go fix it.
