What? That is just rude. And you only did one post, and I posted before you. So please stop it. I am only hear to answer @lukezhang2016ccc’s question.
Then don't keep posting wrong answers if you don't want it to be pointed out that you're wrong.
Not just you, lots of people wanted to answer the question but didn't bother checking the facts (the game was clearly rated and OP is/was not banned or the opponent's rating wouldn't have changed) or didn't explain the real reason (yes, the large rating difference is why the rating change is less than 1, but only one person explained that the +0 doesn't mean +0.0).
probably that is just +0.49 which is rather annoying when you see it as ±0 but not so much when it is just a bit higher (say +0.51) as you see it as +1...
Again no... At your rating difference it is above 0.5... It is about .68, but depends a bit on your opponents deviation as well, and I did not look that up, but the range is all comfortably above 0.5.
The answer is that sometimes a chance of about 0.68 is enough to change the rounding on your stored rating by 1, and sometimes it is not. There is no speculation involved in what I am saying, it is a mathematical truth.
You asked a question, and got the answer. Whether you choose to accept mathematics, or not, it of course up to you, but it will not change the correctness of the answer.
