This is basically an investment question.
The historical average 10 year return for an investment is around 160% to 190% if invested in stock market. So this means that if a 1000 rated player spent 10 years training to get an equivalent result to stock market they'd need to reach 2600 to 2900 Elo.
Admittedly as with all investments you'll get warning that it can go up as well as down... although same applies to FIDE ratings!

I would probably wait 2-3 months, I'm 1854~ FIDE, so thats $1854 , but tbh it doesn't increase THAT much, like even if you are 2800, you only get +1000$ compared to my current rating.

No, if you sell your rating. You can never sell it again, even if your rating increases.

Online is not the future, you cannot prevent people from cheating. Especially in bigger tournaments.
If GM's like Kirill Shevchenko (2600) cheated in OTB, imagine how many more cheaters will come in online

You can still play chess but you will never get to claim again
