Interesting Details About Lichess’s Account and MagnusCarlsen’s Account

If you go to the official account of Lichess, you’ll notice that although Lichess supposedly haven’t played any games, they’re “rated” 1333? on Bullet. Perhaps they played an actual Bullet game on May 14th, 2024.

Moreover, if you go to an account named “MagnusCarlsen”, you’ll see that he is 2800? on Bullet, Blitz, and Classical without any games!
The account also played 2 Atomic Games and won both of them!

Fun fact: In one of those two games, the account has won against Cedur216, a legendary forum poster.

Even if these "discoveries" had not been made dozens of times in the past, I would not call them "interesting".

Well Magnus' identity was verified so he was put on 2800 in all categories back in the days, even though he never played in any of these on that account

As to that bullet rating, there's a bit of a story. An admin started to play a game without realising that they were on the official Lichess account; it was later moved, but some traces remained...

lichess probably paid magnus to make an account so they can say he registered. but making an account takes more effort than he put into the sum of his game sover the year. a formality
