Blitz is bad for progress: it breeds bad habits, like playing too fast and too shallow.
As to reach 2000 rapid, I wrote a blog about it.

1700 blitz in just 8 months of playing is not bad. It is a small percentage of 12-year-olds who decide to learn to play chess. Of these, only a small percentage decide to make it a regular hobby. And only a small percentage of these make it to 1700 blitz, especially within a year.

But if your goal is to continue to improve instead of stagnating...well, I personally found playing correspondence chess a big help to my thought process. Try setting up a few games (less than five) of medium-length correspondence (3 to 7 days) and spend time thinking on each move.

It equals nothing in FIDE.
To obtain an OTB FIDE rating you must play in FIDE rated tournaments.
To obtain an online FIDE rating you must play on their FIDE Arena platform.

Yeah FIDE OTB tournaments and Lichess blitz reward entirely different skills, OTB tournaments reward deeper calculation and positional play as opposed to intuition and tactical tricks. So it's a tough question, but I'd say 1350-1550 FIDE, so about class C or average.

But to answer the original question, compared to other standard 12 year olds, 1700 blitz is great! You should probably win most games against your peers unless they too play chess well.
