i feel like i play terribly
1700 is still deep in reckless blunder territory, but its also rapid so it's not as real of a version of chess as classical. I think 2080 to start being happy.

It is never good to feel like trash because one does not master something yet, be it chess or something more serious.
Better feel like having many opportunities to learn.
By the way chess is trash because it is a lot of both conscious and unconscious memorization, this is the one thing where World Champion Bobby Fischer was absolutely right. Humans can still enjoy chess of course.
