Symmetrical English main line (or close to a main line) is 6 moves symmetrical. But I'm sure some boring Giouco Pianissimo has longer symmetry.

Dubov and Nepomniachtchi played a well known symmetrical game with only knight moves in the 2023 World Blitz Championship as per https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=2633743 . For their efforts they also got a symmetrical 0-0 result that meant Dubov finished 2nd instead of joint first.

how is this not symetrical ? ( besides the knight )
