I just wanted to give a shout out to Just Chess which provides a very good looking 3d board for playing longer games or watching broadcasts. It's under active development and the developer is very responsive. I only discovered by chance on this forum when looking up whether lichess was going to implement a 3d board. Anyway I highly recommend the software. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2242080/Just_Chess/
