Not too good at puzzles

It is the idea, when you lose points it is a chance to improve/reinforce/learn again/watch from a different perspective some aspects.

It is not a bad thing at all to lose points, neither in puzzles, nor in games ("someone win and someone learn")! Maybe you are making the moves before being sure if it is the best combination (and stockfish has no mercy).

PS: Just try to analyze all elements in the position exactly like you do in any game (oportunities for you, for your opponent, all weaknesses, previous moves..), and even if you dont solve the puzzle, it will improve your analytic skills (puzzles by themselves do not improve your game quality at all) and if you dont find a tactic, just take a break.

One word of advice: opt for the ones with set tasks (mate in 3s for example). This tends to bring the engines a bit more "down to earth."

Few puzzles don't measure strength. Play many more and if no major improvement only then you would need to work on by training with puzzles. It will only help you. Also, rating is relative. Either ignore or play casual puzzle.
