pause clocks in correspondance game

Short answer: you can't.

Once a game, any game of any time control, has started, neither you nor your opponent can pause the clock in any way. There is however a feature by which your opponent may add time to your clock, which feature may be enabled or disabled.

I don't think the ability to add time to the opponent's clock exists in correspondence games, which is what the title asks about. Or maybe I'm just missing it? It would be a nice feature.

In my experience, you can add time in correspondence games, as in other time controls. Both you and your opponent do have to have the "Give more time" setting enabled, though.
