Play or train, what do you prefer?

Both ... Chess Study & Chess Play are fantastic' . People who also at times read a Chess History Book as in dabble through say A History Of Chess by HJR Murray for example or reading Chess Books like Modern Ideas In Chess by Richard Reti for example or The March of Chess Ideas by Anthony Saidy are also enjoyable at times as it's the Lure of Chess that can keep us going . When one is Studying Chess & Learning Positional Concepts, Ideals & Ideas one is said to be Learning & most likely enjoying that even more than playing . One can Play over games that have been completed by Great Players or Computers as well & Learn also . By Playing we learn mostly by Studying Mistakes made . Whether you PREFER Playing Training Studying & Enjoyment of everything in Chess matters ONLY to a certain degree' but NOT Experiencing the beauty involved by playing studying training & reading or watching Chess Videos I cannot recommend

I must admit that I like to train more than to play, because as long as I don't play, I cant't lose ;-)

When I play I prefer to train, and when I train, I prefer to play.
