While searching "Daniel Naroditsky" on YouTube, I came across this video by a person who uploaded it two weeks ago. It takes an obviously satirical joke made on a stream by GM Ben Finegold (very likely before Danya's death) out of context and tries to make it look like Danya was cheating! This is obviously a disgusting attempt to make money off of an innocent individual, even after his tragic passing... you can even see some of the deluded and ignorant fools in the comments, believing everything! I try to usually be calm about things, but such attempts just cross the line. I encourage you all to report the video for spam/misleading, as it is nothing other than that, it's no good... you can check it out yourself and confirm, you will find that I have not exaggerated at all, although I wish I was. Such people are the reason why we can't have nice things.

I think I understand your frustration

However, sharing the link directly actually defeats your purpose. The YouTube algorithm cannot tell righteous anger from genuine interest: every click, view, and comment coming from this post signals high engagement, causing the video to be recommended to an even wider audience.

If you want this to stop, the best move is to remove the link here and starve the creator of engagement. Anyone wishing to report it should do so quietly and directly on YouTube without amplifying its reach across social media, wouldn't you agree.

@DvdB sure, thanks for the advice. what do you suggest I do going forward? should I delete the original post, edit away the link? thank you once again.
