What could I make if I became a coach at the level I'm at right now?

"get a formal trainer certificate" * A title is better than a certificate
"You don't have to be a good player to be a good trainer" * I would train with a good player than with a good trainer.
No you wouldn't

I would prefer a good player with a title over a weaker player with a trainer certificate.
Maybe you would not, but I certainly would.

For the higher trainer titles of FIDE you need to be a good player. But there are plenty of GM who just can't teach. You will not learn from them.
A player title only says that a player ist or used to be a master chess player. It doesn't say that the person is a good trainer or even a decent human being.

A good trainer must be able to answer questions. Being a good player as testified by a title is some guarantee, having a trainer certificate is not.

A lot depends on the student, I think - how strong they are to start with and how good they are at understanding the learning process for themself.

I'd expect a normal beginner to do better with someone who can patiently work out what buttons to push to help them to correct their basic issues and straighten out their thought process a bit while remaining upbeat and encouraging, even if they aren't that strong a player over-the-board. Stronger players are going to get more from some hatchet-faced GM who just grunts derisively and shows them a couple of lines to illustrate some deep idea. In the extreme, super GMs seem to spend a lot of time just analysing stuff with engines, which are like the best possible players but the worst possible teachers, and I wouldn't recommend that to many beginner or intermediate players if you've got the option of lessons with a human instead...

Unfortunately for the OP, though, there seem to be a lot of titled players out there who are also good and experienced teachers, so isn't going to be an easy market to get into either way!

I have a friend who is similar rating to you and charges around 8 Euros an hour for European students, but in India he charges around 300-400 INR (3-4Euros) for an hour, so it depends where your students come from

Oh, I didn't know you mean someone who is better than Stockfisch.
As a trainer you need to learn and teach all tools including how to use and understand engines and databases. You need to prepare lections dependend in the level and needs of your studends. If raw strength would be sufficent than who should be the trainer of Magnus Carlsen?
I know several over 2700 GMs who have an IM as coach.
I know FM players who have a 1900 FIDE Elo coach.
As far as I know you need 2200 FIDE Elo for the highest FIDE trainer title. But more important you need several GMs who sign that you are the reason that they have become a GM.

Logic is not your best quality I hope

"Logic is not your best quality" * It is.

I dont know.
But I do have a friend, a bit better than you, but not significantly.

I honestly do not know how much he makes, but he is married with 3 kids and he is able to support them.

Many of the players he trained are far better than him now.

But it all depends.

Do you have a place where you can have many kids at the same time?
Is chess popular in your area?
Can parents pay the fee?
