Chess is always a 5/5, it's the nutjob humans who cycle thru the emotions when playing.
I sometimes even 'blame' chess that I'm so bad at chess

5/5 under normal circumstances
0/5 when tilting

5/5, Chess is the only activity, where I've met Person from Online Chess in real life for example in a Tournament and it was always great, playing Tournaments is great as well and Chess is very Nice ^^

We I'm a class B player, so chess is 4/5 for me.
