why do people play the slav? its painfully cramped for black

it seems my selected title is triggering some people. if i could do it again i'd change the title to something more neutral. i wrote it out of frustration because i've spent a lot of time learning the slav but wasn't getting the type of position expected.
its not out of arrogance at 'Knowing more than a GM'. i never claimed that. i am just trying to have a discussion about it but some people instead of making insightful comments about the slav just tell me i have no business discussing it here.

please, if you have nothing to add about the specific line discussed here then just find some other thread to add your wisdom to.

If you're cramped you're playing it wrong
