Don't put your hand on the mouse. This sends a signal to your brain that you are ready to move.
I read that somewhere in a blog about puzzle solving.
It does not send a signal to my brain that i am ready to move.

The brain always sends signals to effectors (via the motor neurone).

It seems the puzzle streak is designed to reduce your score. After you find the winning move, you're often asked to enter several more nonsense moves that have nothing to do with the solution. Every move you enter is an opportunity for a mouse slip as well as eating up your time.
