You are right that there is a bug.
23 hours ago he started with 2370 and won 4 points.
The next game he started with 2404 (instead of 2374, 30 points too much) and won 1.
The next game the error in counting his rating is corrected and he starts with 2375.
When you count all the points he won (6) and substract the 30 error points it leads to -24.
Why does this happened? We will never know without checking the server logs.

No need for server logs, this is a well known bug. Cybershredder's actual rating at the start of the game was 2374, but because he joined the tournament in advance it is displayed as 2404, his rating when he joined the tournament.
As this was Cybershredder's first Racing Kings game of the day, it also affected the profile timeline display. The graph in the Racing Kings stats is correct, however.
