Our "Advanced search" feature for games is currently missing recent games because we have reached the maximum number of games that can be indexed.
We are [working on a fix](https://github.com/lichess-org/lila-search/issues/719) and will give an update when the feature is functioning properly again.

Is this also impacting the Opening Explorer? That's been busted for a few days now. Just wondering if I should raise that issue separately.

**Update**
All recent games, starting from 1 December 2025, are now indexed and available for our "Advanced search" feature.
To fix the issue, we had to replace the underlying game index. At the same time, we are experimenting with a different search backend to improve the "Advanced search" feature overall.
This process is still ongoing: https://github.com/lichess-org/lila-search/pull/721
During this process, games before 1 December 2025 might not be available in the "Advanced search", but we are continuing to backfill all game data.
Some games before 1 December 2025 have already been indexed and all games will become available once the process is complete.
We apologise again for any inconvenience and will give another update on the process.
