But a Berserk gives more points specifically for the reason you give an advantage to your opponent.
Exactly, I would get the extra points only if I do actually berserk and incase I revert back, its back to normal points

In fact, if both players berserk, the fair thing to do would be to give them even less points, to mitigate their advantage against all the players who actually play the time control they signed up for.

Whoa, nice suggestion. I could never think of it like that. Maybe you should create a separate topic for this suggestion. I can already tell you I'm with you on this.

Damn yeah I agree to a certain point, but tbf all other players also have the option to berserk but choose not to. So, if a revert back is allowed it can help with this

Yeah, it looks promising on first sight, but my suggestion would hardly work, as there is no incentive for the second player to ever berserk back. In fact, he is just hurting himself with no benefit at all.
But still, as it is currently designed it just ruins arenas (for me at least).

I think the extra points should be denied if both sides go berserk. At that point, you're not doing anything extraordinary.
I see your point, but then there is never any reason to berserk back if your opponent berserks except to deny your opponent the extra points. So I think it's better how it is now.
[Edit: I just noticed that @nadjarostowa said basically the same thing in #15.]
