Horrible Puzzle selection in the "Healthy mix puzzle selection

I was solving a puzzle (snapshot attached) where I was able to properly figure out an incorrect move for white because black would have an easy response. When I played what I think is the actual correct move, that move was declared incorrect and the incorrect move was declared correct because black played an incorrect move! This is garbage selection. How can I know that in response to an incorrect move by white black will play a trash move? I want my points back. Screenshot 2026-10-11 at 1.32.09 PM.png
I saw gxf5 and played a different move. How was I supposed to know white would respond with a trash move like f5?

Judging by the number of red squares, you are not trying to think about this puzzle or another.

People, take care of your time, try to get benefit from each puzzle. Don't answer at random.

trash move like f5

Tell we what White move is, which in your opinion is the strongest in this position?

It looks like you played 48... Kf4 instead of f5. Kf4 loses after White plays the correct move 49. c4!, and White's pawns are too fast.

It's true that what the engine selects as the best line in a puzzle is not always the most testing for a human, but that doesn't change the fact that your Kf5 move loses the game, and is thus an incorrect solution.
