How to open studies directly in interactive mode (iOS app and browser)

Hi everyone,

I use studies a lot for opening training, both in the Lichess iOS app and in the browser. I would like to open a study and immediately play through it interactively, the way a learner would: the opponent's moves are played automatically, wrong moves are rejected, and the next moves stay hidden until I find them.

Instead, when I open a study, I usually see the full move tree right away, which gives away the answers.

For my own studies, I know about the "Preview" button in the browser, which shows the study the way a spectator sees it. But I have to click it again for every chapter, and it doesn't seem to exist in the iOS app at all. The same issue applies to other people's studies.

My questions:

  1. Is there a way to open a study (my own or someone else's) directly in this interactive/learner mode, both in the iOS app and in the browser, without clicking "Preview" for each chapter?
  2. Does this only work if the author has set each chapter's analysis mode to "Interactive lesson"? If so, is there any way to use a normal study, like the one linked above, for this kind of training?
  3. If none of this is possible yet, is it planned for the mobile app?

Thanks in advance!
Lars

LiChess Tools has a sticky Preview setting. If you set it to Preview, it stays in Preview until you turn it off, @Eliquidos
