Interesting Puzzle (#BA9LX) with multiple solutions

Its my first time encountering a puzzle with multiple solutions, and both solutions are interesting. I discovered lichess can detect multiple solutions then allow user reporting, too.
https://lichess.org/training/BA9LX

The puzzle took me a long time to calculate as f5 and Nf6+ both aims to target g7. But I ultimately chose Nf6+ as it was an easy solution to validate, and I wasn't sure I was missing something that prevents white from winning after f5.

The puzzle solution was Nxf6+ gxf6 Kh7 Qe5, then black only can stop checkmate by Rh8 stopping Rf3 temporaily but loses the rook back after Qg5+ Kf8 Qg7+ Ke8 Qxh8

However, f5 was another solution with immense complexity.

  1. If black replies with hxg4, white can play f6.
    1.1 If black doesn't take on f6, such as Rfe8, hxg7 Kh7 Qg5 is winning (e.g. hxg4 f6 Rfe8 hxg7 Kh7 Qg5 Re7 Qh5+ Kxg7 Qxg4+ Kh7 Qh5+ Kg7 Qg5+ Kh7 Rf4) (apparently computer suggests Qg5 immediately after Rfe8, hxg4 f6 Rfe8 Qg5 Qf8 hxg4, so that white can pile its rook and queen on the h-file)
    1.2 If black takes on f6, exf6 Rfd8 (giving f8 square to queen) Qh6 Qf8 Qh4 and black still runs out of useful moves, when white has Rf4 and Nf5 as threats (e.g. hxg4 f6 gxf6 exf6 Rfd8 Qh6 Qf8 Qh4 Bb5 Nxb5 axb5 Rf4 Rc1+ Kh2 Qd6 Qh6) or (e.g. hxg4 f6 gxf6 exf6 Rfd8 Qh6 Qf8 Qh4 Bb5 Qxg4 Kh7 Nf5 exf5 Rxf5 Qh6 Rh5 Rg8 Qf5+ Rg6 Rxh6 Kxh6 Qxc8)

  2. If black tries to play f6 themselves, then Nxf6 winning as after gxf6 black's king is getting exposed where fxe6 is completely winning (exf6 too by computer but requires very precise play which I won't think I would find the correct moves) (e.g. f5 f6 Nxf6 gxf6 fxe6 (Bxe6 exf6) Be8 exf6)

It doesn’t do that to me?

I couldn't believe this is actually real. I wonder to what depth they automatically analyzed?
