Is there an error in the draw decision?

Ok, really a unique draw, without the opponent's agreement

opponent already can't win in any form

Or you ran out of time? But I don't think so...

You probably clicked draw unintentionally.
To prevent that enable confirmation of draw offers in your profile.

I see that you resigned in two other games the same day. Is it possible you accidentally resigned this one first? That would show up as a draw, too.

Well... Unless you click so fast that you didn't know that u did it twice. It can happen.

Hoisting that shiny white flag is always a loss, even in case of insufficient material.

Only reasonable explanation is that OP indeed misclicked the draw button.

No, it's not. By FIDE rules, and Lichess implementation, resigning in a position where (the system knows that) it's impossible for the opponent to checkmate you = draw (in fact, it's not a claimable draw under FIDE rules, you really do have to resign if you want an immediate draw and the opponent isn't cooperating). The only way to lose against insufficient material is to trigger Cheat Detected, or possibly by getting banned for cheating. I'm not going to try either of them for obvious reasons, but here's what happens when white resigns and black only has a king:

@PurpleInferno maybe by FIDE rules but definitely not by Lichess implementation.

How about you try it firsthand

What did you think I did in that game I just linked?
