I dont know if the change is in effect yet, as i dont know if the other guy on github replied before or after you posted in this forum, but when I go at my normal pace its still too low this limit but I kind of noticed it runs out slower

I tested the new changes and it seems like it might still be a bit too low for some users - after about 7 games the limit was reached, if the change is easy to make, and doesn't have any downsides, i'd suggest increasing the limit again

Still not working.
@DvdAvins I think this is a timezone issue, it's already 1 pm where I am, and I also checked lichess.org/source and the last update was 4hrs ago which ligns up with his 8-9 am
By the way I am still reaching the limit easily even when browsing normally through tournaments at a normal pace and not testing.
@SergioGlorias The change is definitely in effect now (or should be), but I don't even notice it, the error keeps coming back. They should increase the limit by an order of magnitude, not just a little bit, me and my friends all are getting this error still, thank you. Maybe increasing by 2x or 3x would be appropriate to fix this for practical use.
