Lichess decided to create result glyphs or victory flags. They did this without creating a preference setting to control if this appears for a set user. Many of use Zen mode and don't need flashy graphics or unnecessary information. Yet after days of feedback Lichess devs decided to get rid of one of the flags instead of the original two but still no off switch. Even though they had to fix a bug in the feature as released originally switching it off internally when you enter the analysis mode.
Finally the forum topic was switched off, so no new posts bring it to the top of the forum. That is an arrogant move.
So I have decided to give feedback by creating this new topic. You can't stop us from giving feedback and still expect us to be appreciative of the Lichess service. I implore any admins and devs to do the right thing.

I agree, I never liked the victory flags, or X's.
But I think it would require a lot of coding.

That's not a Lichess move. When a topic grows bigger than 5 pages (50 posts), additional posts no longer bump it to the top. There is no conspiracy.

I use Lichess every day. I have to say I don't like it either. No way to remove it ? Maybe in study mode ? Thanks.

Just adding my two cents that I don't like this either. Especially when doing tactics, the point is to see everything myself not have a computer show me.

Why do you think Lichess allow this feature on their forum for popular posts that could have controversial/popular topics... hmmmm

It's not to suppress popular topics. It's a sanity measure due to their topic sorting algorithm.
Always bumping most recent to the top with no sunset would favor volume to the detriment of all else. Lots of silly arguments and memes. Lots of dead horses. The first 15 pages would be out of date politics and garbage. Mods would have manually kill zombie threads, and this would anger you more than the algorithm.
Instead, people get 50 posts in each topic to make their points above the fold. Timeline notifications and pings exist for those who care to take it further.

It's an arbitrary limit on topics that are developing as well as all the other reasons you have given, many things can be true at once brother. I want this feature managed by my preferences, it's insanity otherwise. What's the point of having a Zen mode if you have this garish flag flashing up after every game. The sane option is to give users an off switch or have it deactivated in Zen mode.

I've worked for decades in IT. It VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY LIKELY will take less coding than implementing it did. You're talking about essentially an IF statement and supporting elements added in appropriate places. AND even if it DID NOT take less effort they should still make an off switch!!!!!!!!!!!! (Or just remove this BUG/feature)
