I've always found on correspondence that you get a lot of people who start games and never return. This can happen for legit reasons like being busy, which is fine and normal. However, you also find a large bunch — probably one in six opponents I have — who just start the game and never return. When you check the profile they' have started a correspondence game and never returned at all or just stopped after the first four moves15 or more times a cross 20 correspondence games.
Should I report those cases?
I've reported a fair few of these and never heard back like I usually do if I report someone for cheating.I understand you only get a notification if someone is actually banned, so silence doesn't necessarily mean the report was ignored. But it's hard to know if it's doing anything or if I should report it.
What do people actually do in this situation? Wait it out, report, or just resign and move on?
